The sinister beast that is the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe Black Series is the kind of car that is arguably best enjoyed in its natural habitat, which is none other than the racetrack.

To prove this, the German firm took the most powerful production version of its C-Class Coupe to the Laguna Seca circuit in California for some quick laps and shared the video with us.

It's a strange cocktail to say the least: two of the world's finest professional drivers, two-time F1 champion Mika Häkkinen and 2009 F1 champ Jenson Button, get into a 450-horsepower Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG sports saloon to promote a 'don't drink and drive' campaign from renowned Scotch whiskey brand Johnny Walker by burning their initials on the asphalt.
